Want to buy Mark VI Bari neck "Bb" or "A"

The neck for any Selmer Paris bari should work fine on your VI. There's no octave key involved, and the tenons are the same size.

1saxman is right. i played my mark 6 with a super action 80 neck for years. when i finally tried another mark 6 neck on it, i found i actually liked the super action 80 neck better.

Thanks for info - opening up to all Selmer Paris Bari necks and Super action 80's. Vick, out of curiosity did the Super action 80 improve intonation or was it just the sound you liked?

intonation wasn't affected as far as i could tell. the super action 80 neck had a larger opening, giving me a bigger sound and was more free blowing and just really suited my big band playing better than the mark 6 neck. the mark 6 neck seemed just a tad bit more refined and added some resistance i just didn't like. hope this helps.

You can probably get one from WW&BW or order it through your local Selmer dealer. Low A and regular are the same neck.
