Hello all,

Hope today finds everyone doing well. I'm looking to purchase my first tenor as a late bloomer. I've found a tenor on e-bay that has a crown that is stenciled on front of bell w some small lettering beneath it that is not viewable in sellers photos. The seller states that horn says Grenadier on it and that it has serial number 96xx. Seller also states that it is an R Malerne stencil 40-50 yrs old. I looked at pictures from I think it's called saxpics.com that show Malerne horn pics-- but to me it looks more like a Noblet. I like the looks of the horn and lacquer condition, but I'm still a little leary -- not knowing much about Malerne and there being limited info engraved on this horn. The e-bay seller has a store called Dr Larrys Collection. This sellers stats are all positive, which is encouraging. Any info or input from others here is greatly appreciated. :?

Most of the Grenadiers I have seen are stencils of italian horns. Any pictures?
