Any thoughts on the R1 Jazz Altos? I have opportunity to pick up a as new R1 Jazz for 1695.00.
I have never played one and none around here to test play.
Friend of a friend has it for sale.
I think he paid 3000 new...(sound right?)

Yup. $3,416.00 and up for an R1 Jazz vintage silverplate alto at Saxforte.
