Hey all,
I've got a Zagar tenor piece here with Brian Powell's mark on it, opened up to .106". I haven't seen too many Zagar pieces (well, none actually except online) and I wonder if anyone could tell me what model this piece is and what a fair value would be.
Markings: 7 on bottom of shank, 141 on table, David A. Zagar on top.

Looks like an early vintage bronze piece. Probably about 3 years old. No doubt a nice player, especially since Powell worked on it. Hard to estimate market value since few pieces like this hit the market, but I'd estimate between $250-300 as fair value on SOTW. I think there's a newer vintage bronze on Ebay right now so you could watch that and see what it goes for.

I concur with bfoster64. Looks like a Vintage bronze (if you got it from "brasscane" it is) and it should go for at least 200$ on ebay. But given the additional work of B.Powell I'd ask at least 250$, which I think it's totally worth....
Good luck!

Yes I am, going to put it up on my website later today.
It did indeed come originally from Brasscane, who was kind enough to PM me and give me some info as well when he saw I was the new owner.
