Can anybody compare these 3 mouthpieces? I need help for choosing the "right one", and trying them all here in Buenos Aires is out of the question, any other suggestion for a full bodied (not too dark, not too bright) sop. piece will also be welcome, thanks, guys.

The Runyon will be brighter than the other 2. Unfortunately, unless you try them you wont know if the Bari and Morgan are too dark for you or the Runyon is too bright. Are you playing on a piece now as a reference point.

The Morgan will always play well since it is hand finished. The others might need hand finishing to play their best. For me the Runyon and Bari play better in tune with my sax and my embouchure. The Morgan and Bari are similar, but the squeeze throat diameters are different enough for one to be a better fit than the other for a particular sax and player.

Try to buy them all in used condition. You should then be able to sell the ones you do not want for about the same price as you paid for them. Shipping via US mail is not expensive.

I tried all three and currently play a BARI. The Morgan was amazing. It was very in tune and silky smooth. It was the darkest of the three but still projected equally. The BARI had a little more kick and edge to the tone. The BARI wasnt better than the Morgan it just fit the sound in my head more. The runyon did not have as complex of a tone as the others. It was bright but bland.

Once you find a mouthpiece that you have a good feeling for -- one that has rich tonal qualities and (importantly) good intonation -- you can then do some fine-tuning with your sound by trying different cuts of reeds. I can go from a very dark sound to a brighter one on my Morgan mouthpieces by simply using a different reed. This is a way I've used to extend the scope of my sound while using only one mouthpiece.
