The key is Eb minor in concert pitch, F minor for tenor and C minor for alto. These are just like other keys, they are allas easy as eachother to play in.

Really Bootman?
When I learned it by ear from Desmond's recording (back in the day), I'd swear it was is Bb for Alto. Memory can fade over time though. 8-)

I played Take Five with the vocal jazz ensemle at school last year. It was in the key of D minor (concert), making it E minor for tenor. SUCH a breeze. :) Don't remember the arranger, but that's probably the most comfortable key to play it in (mostly due to the fact that it's a vocal arrangement).

By the time you'd find another key arrangement, you could transpose it yourself to another key suitable for you. It's a lot easier, too, if you have a music notation program like Finale or Sibelius this can be done very quickly.
