I bought a bari mouthpiece off ebay recently (item #330202709820) was wondering if anyone has any info on it. The only other info I have is just right of the table is a very small "C Paris" stamped on it. And if your wondering the metal fitting is not a tuner, it is just a metal fitting over the hard rubber that extends to the bottom of the piece. From my research, there is no information that George Bundy ever did business in Paris.
If anyone has a lead on a ligature that works with it would be most helpful, Rovner makes a 4r for bass so if someone could give me some kind of measurement on a modern bass mouthpiece or a rovner 4r, I could work with that. I just used some string for rehearsal, the piece is extremely responsive and has a nice sound.
*Edit: I got the 4R ligature from Rovner and it works great. From reading this site seems like a 12M is likely to play sharp with a modern mouthpiece (the reason why I was looking for a vintage) and with this piece I had to do a good amount of sanding on the cork to get it in a good spot.
