I found a Vintage Vito tenor on sale, it has the serial # of: 21XXA, It does not say where it is made. It only says V*ITO vertically on the bell. Does any one know if it is comparable to the Beaugnier or Kenosha Vitos...I don't know much about these but I am curious...How do they sound?, was it meant to be a student or pro horn?...I searched threads about this particular horn but only found arguments about where they were made or who manufactured them. I would just like to know how they sound and if they hold their own, or if it is a stencil of some sort...Thanks!

And it also has the b and bflat tone holes on the opposite (left) side...

For more information on Vito saxes, try Kim Slava's website (http://www.doctorsax.biz/vito_ser_nos.htm). I can't tell you how the specific tenor model you describe plays since I've not played one, but the table on his website might help with some info, and Kim might know more about how they sound.
