What is a good mouthpiece for bari beginner, what tip opening would you recommend. I bought a used B&S bari-sax that came with a metal Otto Link #6 and Berg Larsen 100/2/SMS. Is this o.k. for a beginner. what reed should i use.

I bought a Legere 2 1/2 plastic reed and play this with the Link mpc. This setup is o.k for me. Anybody else play Legere reeds on bari ?
Which strenghts on which mpc?

Beginner adult player or beginner as in youngster? If you're new to the sax I'ld be thinking getting an opening of .080 or .085 on a Runyon #88. But that won't give you any Jazz sound just ease of play. The mouthpieces you have sound fine if you want to just experiment with a couple of reed strengths and different manufacturers. Read some of Paul Coats' articles, he is a frequent contributure of sound advice.
