Just got my Kohlert 57 alto repadded after owning it 4yrs!!!

To sum up the way this horn plays in one word: WOW!!

It very easily could become my new favorite...my VI tenor may get jealous.

Yep! I have yet to be dissapointed in a Kohlert horn. How is it set up. What resos, mouthpiece etc...

I used Selmer domed metal resos. I play a Dukoff D9 with a orange box Rico 3 It is amazing. Plays better than the 1937 BA that I sold and as good as my VII. It is almost bronze from the faded lacquer and has a couple of dents also. I do have it gimped out with Runyon palm and side key risers.
