Is this one of the last pro models made in Italy by Grassi, or a student horn, or, worse yet, a Taiwanese one?
I understand that AS stands for alto sax, and TS tenor sax, and SS sopran sax.

I can tell you, but I need to see pictures. Model numbers weren't heavily promoted when they were made in Italy, so I'd guess that it's a Korean made horn (yes, Korean).

In other words, the last Italian-made Grassi horns were the 2000 series. After that, Grassi was shut down and someone has bought the brand and stamps it on Korean-made horns.
