1/ Engraving of soprano sax 1896 the number in ANANAS is (96) It is oldest of which I was informed.



2/ Listing of quality range of model
HI = Monopole LOW = S.O

For what it is worth (as Couesnon made a wide variety of instruments and I do not know to which these relate specifically) - I understand the order of model designations goes like this:

SO - student model
CGO - superior model
BO - 1st choice model
GMN - able to change key
BN - professional model
HN - top of the range professional model
Monopole - Exceptional quality, professional
