Been playing mine for over 2 years - Its a groove tool, I enjoy every minute with it. I have been playing on MANY sax's throughout time - and I tell you - thats it! I have the earth tone tenor, and it sounds just right - the body, the darkness ....
Its made in Germany by B&S ( CJS is just a cover name by LA Sax ) - and you can feel that (although its a bit heavy) but it has the robust touch (will add some pictures next time)

Rezeg, that's not a secret 'round these parts. They're the best bang for the buck, really underrated horns and as good as any horn available. I have an alto and had several tenors. My only tenor now is an old heirloom Buescher Big B that belonged to my grandfather who used to play with Chick Webb...needed the money and sold all my other tenors...:-(
I'll probably regret selling my Black Nickel CJS...

Yes, B&S-horns a very sturdy and (maybe) the best saxes ever made...
Yes, they are heavy, my tenors have a weight of 3,7 kg (each).

Another B&S lover here. I've recently sold most of my horns due to a change in musical direction, but I find myself unable to let go of my Allora Sand Finish Tenor. It's just the best tenor I've played, and the looks! Mine has extra factory engraving inside the bell as well as on the bottom bow which looks great. What really kills me though is the smoky bottom end on these horns which I love.
Happy Holidays Everyone!

I don't have a lot to compare to, but I love my CJS tenor too.

Yes, another satisfied B&S owner.
I have a matched brace of Silver - plated Goldbrass Alto and Tenor.
Had them about 3 1/2 years and love 'em. Ditto to all the props about the lush low end on these horns. The ergos are great too - I could go on and on.

Welcome to SOTW as well.
