Just received some very exciting pictures from a lady who was selling a catalog on eBay from 1969. (I didn't in the catalog) It appears that Gretsch was importing Grassi saxophones (and flutes) at this time, and even better, it shows that the model was the Standard model (which is the one with the Buescher-like left hand pinky keys). The pictures were a bit blurry, but I can see that they were importing the alto, tenor, and bari, and they look identical to the Martin Busines as well. There are descriptions of the various models, and Gretsch was also importing Cousenon Monopole horns as well. It also shows that they were importing the Grassi Prestige model flute, and has the full description of that as well. This is a very exciting find. I'll clean up the pics and post some of them later.
