Title says it all. I've heard him play on various albums for years and I'm always impressed with his sound. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find anywhere that gives info on his setup.
I know he plays a MkVI (here's a recent album he just did that shows that: http://www.strokeland.com/smithlane/index.html). Still trying to find out what mouthpiece though...
Thanx guys,
---Chris

He plays a Lawton - I believe that it's a 8*BB facing, but I'll check it out and get back to you on that.

I saw him touring with the Eagles this summer. Nice gig, but too bad he didn't get to blow. He's a great player!

Years ago he played a 9*B Lawton.

Talked with Greg today, and he confirmed that it's an 8*BB. He's playing a Keilwerth bari, and also has a Couf Superba I low A bari. I forgot to ask what reeds he's using, but that's always something for each of us to work out anyway...
Bottom line, Greg's a BAMF and a great model for a bari sax sound!
