How Come? I would love to buy one in three months! or a soprano, I my tenor is restored, and I have a new car. Will they ever have them for sale? I have never seen one, but I can imagine what they would be like! Do they even have a bari?

Due to the political climate in Iraq the Bari's are on hold. I hope this answer helped. If not you might want to ask someone at Kessler Music........

Nef's right. They're made of Bhagdad brass. Right now the company is shut down because all the copper in Iraq is being used to make pennies to bribe Blackwater guards not to shoot civilians. This situation is expected to improve after November of 2008.

More sarcasm? Anyway, search for (keyword)bari, (user name) DaveKessler.
Read the post from 11-03-2007. He reveals all.

To be a tad more useful: I tried searching that way and came up with nothing, but I think by another means I found the post you mean. On 11/4/2007, Dave Kessler wrote:

Currently, the Kessler Custom bari is on paid administrative leave...

We are working with the factory on redesigning some aspects to it. If they can get things done for use, then I will be offering them again. Until then, we are not ordering more.

We had to do a LOT of customization on them to get them to play the way that they do. Plus, we were never satisfied with the Right Hand configuration. So we are working with them on changing all of this.

They are a good horn. There was nothing wrong with the finished product. We are just trying to get them to make the necks for us with the modifications already done & also trying to get them to change the RH ergos.

I hope to know more by February.

As for the Leblanc/Vito. It is now officially discontinued. The contract with Yanagisawa has expired. They are going to fill existing backorders (I have 4 left on order) which we will sell at $3695.

I also have 6 Yanagisawa B901's on order that will sell at $4,095.
