I have a Yamaha YTS 25. Looking on EBay recently I saw a number of YTS23. I know Yamaha have introduced a replacement student model, but what is the difference between the YTS25 and YTS23.

I'm not entirely certain that this is true. I had been under the impression that the YTS-25 was essentially a YTS-23 with a high F# key. I think you'll find the keywork to be more than satisfactory. In reality, what makes a horn play quickly is the player!

the 25 is a European version of the 23. the 21 is the older model of the 23.

Im not convinced either is responsible for forum outages and problems.

Perhaps a mod could move this to the appropriate venue:)
