It is not my intent to post anything that can lead to a repeat of the heated threads from earlier in the year. If that happens, I pray that the moderators will lock this topic.
I want to post a follow up, as I promised I would, on my order for a satin silver Unison tenor, the Steve Goodson Model. For a variety of reasons, none of which are worth discussing here, I finally decided to cancel my Unison order. My $1000 deposit was promptly returned to me (by a dealer who I respectfully decline to name, except to say that he lives in one of the 49 states not named "Louisiana"). If anyone wanted to read my promised review of my new Unison, you can stop waiting for it. End of story.
After cancelling my order, I still wanted a tenor of some sort, and after getting to try one, I ordered a Cannonball "Big Bell Global Series" tenor. It arrived yesterday, and I'm very happy with it. I will post my more detailed thoughts on the Cannonball in the Cannonball section of SOTW.
