Apparantly Ralph Morgan has designed a saxophone. There's an alto model out and he's working on a tenor. Has anyone heard any details about it or even better tried it?

There was talk on this forum a few years back about the possibility of a Mogan sax but I don't think it ever got to the production stage.

A local store has a Morgan alto, but I haven't been in to try it.

Well, I guess anything is possible but if it is a Ralph Morgan alto, that was the quietest product launch in history.

The number for Morgan is 937-322-5041. You might want to give them a call to find out more about it before you consider about a purchase.

Well, shut my mouth! There IS a Morgan sax! I have in my hand the brochure from Morgan. There is only an alto so far but a tenor is coming. There is no info on pricing, where it's made or who the dealers will be. It's got some pictures of various features on the horn and a few brief descriptions.

MM, please run to the store that has one to test it and let us know what you think.

Sigmund, better get that tenor on order.

Received Morgan alto couple of days ago....not a pro player, so not sure how helpful my evaluation would be...

So if any of you pros want to try it, I live in Columbia, MD, email is jhl@comcast.net
