Who uses this neck strap? It's not the whole neck strap being elastic, just the two pieces of elastic at each side of the neck strap which really helps to absorb the impact and weight of the sax.
Was wondering, what are your opinions good and bad on this neck strap?
I've been using one for about 5 years and find it to be excellent. It's good and sturdy and showing no signs of wearing out. I was dubious about the elastic, thinking that a bouncing horn was a good way to lose teeth, but it just seems to make it more comfortable.
I've seen "Doc" Krupa of Tower of Power wearing one. Baritone Saxophonist if you didn't know. Personally after trying several out and making my own. I ended up using a Wiseman for tenor and BG Shoulder Strap for the Baritone.

I strongly advise against using an elasticated strap. You need the sax absolutely firmly anchored at one height, any movement will disturb your embouchure. The padded neck support (on a Neotech for example) is a good thing, but you don't want your sax bobbing up and down on an elasticated sling.
