1) Which sounds better - More rich & thick.

2) Which MPC more easy to control ?

3) Both Bari Gold & Lawton B is consdier a bright MPC, plenty of edge. But which is more bright ?

Both mouthpieces are very good overall, but I think the Lawton ones have the edge, particularly the newer bronze models or ICON's if you can get them. Sadly, the Lawtons are not being made any more, which makes them more difficult to get hold of.
Hope this helps you,
Rick

I also want to try a Lawton Bronze. However, I know their soprano MPC don't have bronze, only their tenor MPC has bronze version. For soprano, only 4 different versions is available.

1) Ebonite
2) Stainless Steel (Surgical)
3) Brass Alloy - Silver Plated
4) Brass Alloy - Gold Plated

I was talking in general terms, but you're quite right, Geoff didn't make bronze soprano mpcs, just the 4 types you listed. Any Lawton mouthpiece, particularly soprano ones, are difficult to get hold of, so you may find yourself having to go for a Bari Gold. Is there any particular reason why you want metal?

I recently tried a Bari Gold (.075" tip I think) on my curved Yani sop. Very free-blowing and powerful. Actually maybe a little too much so. Just a little too loud for my taste. A real paint peeler. It would be a good piece for situations where the stage volume is very loud and you don't have a mike and monitor. I haven't tried a Lawton on sop but played one for many years on bari sax. If I came across one of the brass models mentioned by Tears June I would probably get one. WW/BW only carries the stainless steel model I believe.

I post that question since Oct last year. In the past few months, I've tried a Bari Gold 7. Frankly, my feeling is it doesn't well made. It's too powerful for me in soprano sound.

I also bought a Lawton P chamber soprano last year but too dark. However, it's really a good MPC, good material with more precised design. I'm thinking a B chamber silver plated, Brass. Don't know if still can get this because Mr. Lawton was gone. Also, GBP is very high now...

Silver plated brass Lawton with B chamber is something I'd like to have too. I'll probably never see one, though.
