I just got one of these after a recommendation by GHawk, and it appears to be a great mouthpiece. I got a little too big of a tip opening (my chops suck), but I can tell this thing sings. With a Vandoren V16, I swear the sound is so big that my little curved soprano almost sounds an alto. Very round, full tone. I can't wait for the replacement to get here from WWBW. Man, they are getting a lot of my money lately :-(

Second the motion on the Bari HR for soprano! Although I did just order a Meyer HR to compare....THE FUN NEVER STOPS!

I really like my .68 HR Bari soprano piece. Its a huge improvement over my old meyer and metal yani 7. What reeds are you guys using?

i'm using a 70 on a Yani S991 with rico royal 2.5's. lovely big, fat, darker sound. no wimpy duck calls in my house!
was a bit worried that it would be hard to play, but not really a problem.
seriously, they're good pieces... think i'll try some RJS 2M or 2H's next.

Seriously guys, try the Vandoren V16s on this piece. The combination is excellent (for me anyways).

Sam Levine uses one of these for his session work. Do a search on the net for his name and listed to some of his stuff. He is a good example of what a bari rubber can sound like on soprano.

Bari HR are great warm sounding sop pieces. I had one in the drawer for years while playing a HR Link as my favourite. But now I'm coming back to the Bari again. It seems to work better on my new SC 992. I play it with Alexander Superials DC #3. To my ear they sound richer than Rico Royals for example. La Voz medium also work fine.
