I've come across a Brilhart 5* metal mouthpiece recently and just wanted to know what it's worth and if anyone is interested in it. On the top side of the shank it reads: "Designed By Arnold Brilhart". On the bottom side of the shank it has "111681 5*." It has sort of a "duckbill" tip to it with the bite plate going from the tip back about 1.25" that is built into the mouthpiece. Any ideas?

Sounds like a later Level Air 5* made around 11/16/81. You would be doing well to get $100 for it. Check eBay's completed auctions to see what they are going for there.

I played on one of these for 20+ years.

These are known to be good bari mouthpieces with a history going back fifty years. Still undervalued as Mojo stated, a 5* is a good number for general bari playing. You will not find a mouthpiece that delivers a bigger bottom end. Try a Rico Plasticover #3 on it.
