Boosey & co imperial tennor trombone

Hi all, After playing alto sax for a while I decided to get "the other instrument" I've always wanted to play. I picked up a silver plated Boosey and Co. Imperial trombone. Serial looks to date it around the 1920's

Anyway it hasn't arrived yet but I'm struggling to find out anything about them. does anyone have any info or links that I may not have found yet, got the serial chart but that's about it.

Boosey took over hawkes and son's around 1930 so its earlier than that.I sometimes see the boosey and co instruments especially from the salvation army bands and some community groups here in australia. Do you know the serial no?
