I'm looking for a case that will fit a low-Bb Elkhart bari. Has keys on both sides of the bell and, I think, the bell is wider than modern ones.

Can anyone recommend a sturdy but inexpensive case that will hold it securely? Hope to get some kind of hardshell case, not a gig bag, if that's possible. I don't travel with it outside of town, so don't need an anvil case.

Guy at the local Music and Arts shop (pretty much only place in town for band instruments supplies) wasn't helpful at all. Told me he'd have to order them, couldn't tell if my sax would fit, and I couldn't return it once he'd ordered it. So, catch-22, didn't order anything.

My wife got me a gift certificate there for a case....

Thanks.

I dont think you will find inexpensive case. I have my 12M conn in a pro tech standard (coffin) case. a friend has older conn in the same case. give it a try.

A case for a Martin bari will work. I have an extra one, but unfortunately it's not ready to sell. If it was, I'd put it on ebay. I would look there, because cases come up for sale all the time - that's where I got my extra one.
