hi,
I have a nice Morgan (vintage) HR jazz 6M that has turned brownish. green.
What do I have to do to have it again black or similar?
I did put in water and winnegar, but no results!
please help me!

Vinegar turns hard rubber red or green. You might try an olive oil rub, but this will only darken it some.

Sorry, you are out of luck. The discoloration is quite deep, and is oxidation of the rubber. I have seen pieces that were deeply buffed to remove the oxidation, in an effort to get down to the black, and these mouthpieces were severely damaged.
I know of no chemical way to turn it back black. The best you can do is clean it up (I DO use vinegar to remove white calcified deposits) and hand polish with a fine plastic polish... I use Kit Scratch Out, but Flitz Metal Polish works well, too.
