Anvil will make a case for anything you want. They will create a case with a cutout for your stock case to fit in, or you can send them a template of your horn, and they'll make a case with a cutout for just the sax itself. They'll build a case for a toaster if you ask them to.

I had an Anvil case for my BA. I would not recommend one for general use. The lesson I learned from Barney Kessel is to pack your clothes in an instrument case and, after you fly to your destination, put your clothes in the Anvil case and your instrument in its regular carry case. The other alternative is to have an Anvil case fitted to your sax case - of course then you have to deal with one arm longer than the other from carrying the extra mass.

Yeah, either way you go, an Anvil case is not a "low weight" option. They are sturdy because of their mass. If I was gonna have one, it would have wheels and a pull strap.

I agree that wheels are better than carrying the darn things, I'm just concerned about the rattling that occurs when driving a case around over concrete and asphalt. Definitely a good time for key clamps!
