Interesting piece of art work! What do you think? Does anyone own one of these? Is it worth $1,295.00?

I don't think any case that meets practical user expectations needs to cost $1295 when there are many less expensive options in that category. It is a very attractive and obviously well-made, high quality case, but not very practical. My limited experience with leather cases, especially that color, has shown them vulnerable to cosmetic defects such as nicks, gouges, scratches and other similar flaws in a relatively short period. I agree with Subtone that the money would be better spent on a decent sax, clarinet or flute.

By all means, I had no intention of buying one. I just thought it was a pretty good conversation piece....from afar! I did call to find out if there was that many typo's from the webmaster. Yeah, Right!
Next project, check out the sax strap for baritone in the Misc, accessories forum, under Bluiett. 8) Later
