I am auditioning for a Jazz Summer Camp and I need a good Jazz Etude. I'm very low on $$ and I was wondering if there is a good place online where I could download one, (preferably PDF)?

I can't help you with finding out where to download one, but as for etude books, my favorite is Greg Fishman's Jazz Saxophone Etudes (http://www.gregfishmanjazzstudios.com/jazzetudes.html). Other often used series is the lennie niehaus books, Jim Snidero and the Dan Higgins books.

I agree - Greg Fishman has some really nice stuff in his book. Bob Mintzer's etude books also have some tasty stuff.

Oh yeah....I forgot...Mintzer's books are great, I use them almost as much as Fishmans. I know of at least three of them.

Another vote for the Mintzer books. I use them a lot with my students.
