Yep. Too blurry for me, too..... Neck brace is enticing but from the apparent two-tone color and the single bell key guard, I'd venture "Heimer." And I am probably wrong, but ya really need better pics if you're trying to use that as a basis for a purchase...

I, too, would say a Heimer. The single bell-key brace and the rounded un-SML-like octave key button (for the left thumb) make me believe so. SML octave key buttons (for the left thumb) are usually angular, save for the button pearl itself, and comes on the left side of the post, rather than the right side, as do Selmers and Buffets (I think?).

Anyone else for other opinions?

Spot on.

The neck also looks a little ... wrong. I can't quite put my finger on it. It's late, though.

Saving you the trouble of searching the archive: the Heimer horns are not part-swappable with SMLs and have an odd serial number, whereas all SMLs have SML serial numbers.

If you want an OPINION, the Heimer/Parker is just based on the SML design, it's not a true copy of it.
