Hermeto did three songs with Miles on "Live-Evil," though two of them ("Nem um Talvez" and "Selim") are different takes of the same composition.
I thought I'd try and transcribe "Little Church" and "Nem um Talvez," figuring they're slow pieces which won't give me a hard time.
Well, I picked up the melodies easily enough. However I can't figure out the key signature. I'm not sure that it remains the same through each song. I've got passages written down where it changes from 4/4 to 3/4 for one measure, then back. Alternately I put a fermata at the end of the measure. But then you get measures starting off in what "seems" like it should be the middle of a measure.
This is more complicated than I thought! (And I haven't even tried to figure out the harmony yet)
