Allied makes new C melody cases. Most music stores that sell horns can get them for you.

I did a search as well, and didn't find them. I'm not sure what their full name is. It might be Allied Supply. I'm not 100% sure. They don't make musical instruments. They sell things like case latches, handles, instrument cases, etc. etc. Also, I don't believe you can order directly from them. If you call a music store in your town, and ask them, they should be able to track down some info. for you.
Also the big online stores like Woodwind Brasswind, or smaller ones like World Wide Sax could probably point you in the right direction as well.

I'm not sure if Allied and DEG are related in some way, but both offer a c-melody case that appears to be the same case...or, at lease, very similar. The DEG c-melody case can be purchased through International Music Suppliers (IMS).

I found their name....Allied Music Supply. They don't appear to have a website.

What would be the difference in cases for a curved neck and a straight neck C-mel? Seems to me the neck comes off of either horn and would be stored separately in a space designed for a neck, curved or straight. DAVE

Dave,
You're correct. We're talking about a generic c-melody case. It's meant to be a replacement for the old & worn out case that often comes with a c-melody. It will work for either kind of c-melody neck. As you pointed out, the body of the horn is the same.

I picked up a DEG case for my Conn, fits nicely snug. Not a high-end case, but it's much better than my totally beat original case was, for basic protection.

I'm living in Italy. It's not possible here to find a case for my old York C melody. Is it possible that you give me an internet address where I can purchase the bag?

Yes, DEG and Allied Supply are related companies, and the case is the same. Allied markets its line of spare parts, pads, repair supplies and tools to music stores, not the general public. DEG is their line of accessories and products distributed to stores for retail sale.
Allied also has a repair/overhaul facility where many dealers send instruments for full overhaul, including relacquering or replating, etc. They do good work. I have seen some really junky instruments come back from Allied Repair looking and playing like new.
Their cases are nicely made, and made for them by a case manufacturer who also produce cases for instrument manufacturers.

Thank you for your answer, but who can ask to send me the C Melody case?

Most any music store that buys from Allied should be able to order it. And most any store that does instument repair buys from Allied.

Don't forget please that I'm living in Italy and it's difficult for me to find a musical shop who purchases Allied cases. Maybe can you be so kind to send me the Allied address or e-mail so that I can contsact them to know where I cam find the bag here in Italy?
