My mom surprised me with a new soprano. She picked up an S900 on ebay for me, and it should be here in a day or two. I'll post a review of it when I get it. Looking forward to it though. It should be a nice change of pace from my Winston. Anyone played or owned one of these? Thanks a million!

Haven't played a Yani sop, yet - looking forward to it,though.

You know the pressure's really on, now for Mother's day, right ?:D

Dave, all I can say is: "Big difference over the Winston." Yani's are awesome and still reign king of the sopranos in my view. The tone is absolutely beautiful, intonation superb and their keywork and mechanics are the best there is. Make sure you have it set-up/regulated. You'll be blown away. Enjoy!

Congrats on the Yani sop. I think they are the best! Especially with a Super Session ;)

I second that about the Selmer Super Session's with the Yani's, especially the "I" and "J". Awesome combo.

No he doesn't. I bought it from him, then sold it a few months later.

Do you remember what it sold for?

I'm having a bit of trouble placing a value on mine (limited internet info).

It was a Brand New Purchase a couple of years ago, of an OLD STOCK item from a music store liquidation. So MY purchase price would not be a fair indicator of the market value I'm sure.

It sold over a year ago; not sure how much has changed since then.
