Elkhart was their companion line. I have never seen a mouthpiece with the Elkhart name however. The old Buescher large chamber mouthpieces are not worth all that much except the sopranos. I have a few for Alto and I think they are worth about $30 tops.

Does it say "The Buescher" inside a dotted oval? Probably it is really intended to say "The Buescher - Elkhart USA". "The Buescher" is the model and "Elkhart [Indiana] USA" is where it was made. "The Buescher" was the brand for Buescher's 1920s line of saxophones so I assume this is the mouthpiece that came with them. The prices of these for alto have been steadily declining on eBay over the past few years as they have been offered more and more frequently.

Actually, on eBay you'll see the old "The Buescher" mouthpieces regularly going for for up to $50.00 or so. If it's really clean and comes with the original lig and cap, they can reach the 90's, especially if the auction is open to european bidders -- the Germans are all over the alto mouthpieces.
