4500 Alto from the Instrument Store
Does anyone know if this is a decent horn. I spoke with the instrument store about the model, and they said they upgraded the pads, and springs on this model so it is an intermediate sax in their opinion.
Any quick replies would be appreciated.

I haven't heard of this sax, but I know that there are Kohlert 450 Altos available from musiciansfriend.com check them out there. I think that those are pretty good, not top notch, but pretty good, if that's the sax you're talking about.
