Modifying mouth pieces?

Have any of you in any shape or form modified one of your MP's? If so what did you do?

I have started down this road and it is interesting. I have made a baffle or two and I'm facing my first metal piece right now.

Is there something specifically that you want to try?

best advice I have received: Go slow, measure everything often and realise that you will destroy a few mpcs. Practice, practice, practice.

I have a couple mouth pieces that seem stuffy to me. I play them against another mouth piece and they feel restricted and dull. Just trying to find a way to liven them up a little.
