I've got a Yani stencil tenor it says continental on the bell
on the back it says 600 ser# 500xxx..yani Logo Also the logo is on the neck key... Any ideas about this model ....when it was built , etc. it is a good playing tenor .....pleasantly suprised. Thanks
500XXX doesn't follow any Yani numbering trends that I'm familiar with. However, their stencil horns sometimes vary the numbering scheme.

Does that stencil seem ring a bell ?? I'm sure it's a yani with the logo and all!! I thought i would throw it out to see if someone has seen a similiar
s ax ....it plays quite well..was almost tempted to use it one the gig tonight . Used the the mark6 instead!!
The Yani logo is pretty unmistakable, and the Continental was made by Yanagisawa for . . . can you believe it . . . CONN. But then again, Yanagisawa made the Pennsylvania for . . . SELMER!

Your right , Fred...i Had forgot about that....I've never seen a Pennsylvania!! That would fun.
I just ran across another Yani Continental - this time a "1000" above the serial number. If it follows the Yani s/n scheme, it is from 1968 - 2268XXXX.
