sax mutes??

is there such thing as a sax mute; if so, what are your recommendations?

Sax mutes are real, they don't work too well though. Try a rag down the bell and this will have the same effect for much less cost.

The real alternative is to play softer, this can be s challenge on a loud Bari but it is achievable with practise. Usually though bari players need to be louder unless they play Vintage Conns.
