Hi All,
I recently purchased my first Tenor saxophone(Jupiter 889SG). I received it from Fedex earlier today. The horn comes with two necks. One I'm guessing, is made of the same material as the rest of the horn. The other is labeled "Sterling Silver". The sterling silver neck doesn't look right or play right. On the neck, the pad is resting on the tone hole off center. I tried pressing the octave mechanism down on the neck tone hole when playin a middle G. When I do that, it sounds good, but it jumps when I take my hand off. Can a local music store tech make a minor adjustment to correct this, or should I contact Jupiter? The saxophone sounds great(by my standards) when I use the other neck.
Thanks,
Joe
