Kohlert Serial Numbers

I have recently aquired a V. Kohlert's clarinet in Bflat. I was wondering if the serial number on it would be the same as saxes or would they have two different sets of numbers, 1 for saxes and 1 for clarinets? I know it's very old but I'm just trying to work out how old. I can find sax numbers but there's no mention of clarinets.
