High register playing ala Coltrane

I am curious as to how the extended upper registers are reached. I understand much of the control probably comes from the reed but what fingerings are used, the same as for the same notes and octave down, or false fingerings?

Does anyone here know how to do this.

SOrry I just noticed the altissimo charts thread below. I checked out the site and don't totally understand the charts. Workin' on it!

Also is there a comprehenisve chart that is more printable? I'd spend all day copying that site.

Yes, but sonic do yourself a favor and get "Top Tones for Saxophone" by Sigurd Raschèr for a firm foundation and preliminaries to good altissimo playing.
