Hello,
Well, I've worked out all the glitches in my Mk. VII alto by getting a better mouthpiece...funny how such a small thing can make such a huge difference...so everything's working perfectly, and I'm thinking of selling my horn to help defer the cost of a YAS-82Z. Aside from the Equipment Wanted/For Sale section of this forum, where would be some good places to put ads for my horn?
Thanks

I would say selling that would be a BIG mistake. I think your Mk. VII is a lot better as an instrument, but to answer your question, the internet is a great place to buy/sell. One trick on ebay, if you decide to go that route, is to put no reserve price on it. Start the bid high, where you won't mind letting it go if it only gets the one bid. Say you want to sell it for $800 but you would settle for $700. Start the bid at $700 so you won't be too low, and advertise on the title "no reserve". This gets a lot of attention. Set the bid incriment more than 50 cents. You could have 50 bids and still only be at $725, and there won't be 50 bids on a sax. Try somewhere between $10 to $25 for an incriment. That way it won't be too big of a jump since a sax is a large purchase, but big enough to raise the price. Anyways, good luck if you try to sell.
