Im thinking of buying a t992 bronze unlaquered yani. I cant for the life of me find an article that mentions it in any great detail with pros and cons, overall review etc etc. I played it a few weeks ago now and thinking back liked it more than the selmers and yamahas though the keilwerths were lovely and possibly nicer.
has anyone encountered this seemingly mystical instrument!?!?!
i played a pink gold yani too -
mabye i was just dreaming
thanks

Welcome to the forum :)
There was a thread that talked a bit about this sax;

If you get your hands on one, let us know what you think.

You can check out this website for a general review of these horns. However, this will only give you a basic impression of the playing characteristics that this one particular person had playing these particular horns. I think you'll have to scroll down the page on the left and click on the "sax tests" link, then click your way to find the tenor page, then scroll down to read about the yanis....
