can anyone tell me when Bundy started putting Bundy II on their instruments? I've looked around on the net and found it virtually impossible to find much information on Bundy..

The Bundy II came out in the late 1970's. I had one of the early ones(761k) around 1979. They were different than the original Bundy in the left pinky cluster was "Selmer" like. It didn't tilt and doesn't have a great feel overall but it was the main difference along with the bell keys moving to the other side of the bell and a rose gold laquer. The necks appear to be of the same design but with some minor cosmetic differences.

Bundy is made by Selmer, Bundy was one of Henri's brother's students, cant remember his name right now, but anyway, the guy that owned Selmer USA. Bundy was a genius, so Selmer USA produced a horn that he designed and put his name on it.

Thanks... last week I picked up a Selmer Bundy, serial 622xxx and was curious around what era it was made. I know that just knowing when they changed their name doesn't really give me that much of a time frame.. but I've been curious when the change happened.
