Jupiter recently released the new 900-series soprano saxophone. Has anyone ahd the opportunity to play this new soprano? How does it compare to the 847 soprano with the solid-silver neck? Are there any stores around that offer the new 947 yet?

I got to see one here in Toronto, but it was on its way to a dealer, and I didn't have time to play it.
The 800 series Jupiter sop I have is excellent, and given how good the 900 series bari I've got is...this is gonna be a great horn.

I'm not sure if I'll be at the Workshop or not. I actually go to UofL and study with John Moore. He keeps trying to get me to go, but other things end up getting in the way. The UofL wind ensemble is going to Ireland next summer to play at the WASBE Conference in Ireland, and don't know if that will be the same week or not. I'd love to get to meet you at the Workshop if I'm there. A friend of mine, Matt, said he got to meet you and play all your Jupiter horns. He was really impressed by all of them, so I'm really considering a Jupiter soprano. Do you consider the 900-series to be better than the 800-series?
