I'm after the sort of sound Dukoff produces on soprano, but are there alternatives out there that are similar?

oppai: I do not believe everyone gets the same sound out of specific mouthpieces. The sound you get from a Dukoff may not, and probably is not, the same sound I'd achieve.
I recently traded away a soprano Dukoff (it was too loud and spread for my tastes) to someone who loved it. The Dukoff I received was a lot like the Guardala I traded away - at least that was my experience.
I use Super Sessions in J on all of my sops and those give me better warmth, focused sound, good dynamics, even response, control and more power than any metal piece I've tried (Link, Guardala, and Dukoff) on sop. DAVE

I play a Dukoff M7, Rico 3-3.5 on a Buescher trutone and it works and plays in tune. Alot of tone is how you put the air into the horn. Mouthpiece and reed are important also. I'm having a hard time with the altissimo though, this horn doesn't have a front F either :(. You could try a Berg Larsen.
