Hey guys,

Just curious what reeds you are using on your Freddie Gregory pieces. I just got ahold of a rubber mark II for tenor and am going through the different reeds I have to see what works best for me.

Sor far the best have been Regal Queen by Rigotti, then Marca Jazz, then Vandoren V16 (though I think Im going to give these a longer try today).

Still to try today are: LaVoz, Superial (wish i had a DC too, but i don't) Vandoren Blue, and I think I have a Rico Royal or two around and maybe a Vandoren ZZ.

What are you guys using?

I go between Rigotti Gold 3Ms (or Roberto's woodwind 3Ms) and RJS 3Ms unfiled on my metal tenor IV FG mouthpiece.

I use Vandoren Java 2.5 on my Freddie Gregory model F alto mouthpiece. It is wonderful.

On my FG MK II 7**, I use Alexander Superial 4s. I LOVE THAT SETUP. (My horn is a P. Mauriat 66R.)
