Has anyone ever used "Power Tone Mouthpiece Baffles" WW&BW catalog?

Just wondered if they actually do what they claim.

i wanted to purchase some, but the music store at my home ran out of stock and they told me they wouldnt be importing anymore in because the manufacturer of this powertone baffle thinhys actually stopped manufacturing these removable baffles anymore.

does anyone know why this is so? why discontinue the manufacture of such a gd product?? i dun understand. :?

anyway, besides these baffles, are there any other types out there in the market?

thanx~

Although it increased the volume by 40% in my horn, it also change the tonal characteristics of the horn, given it a extremely edgy, brighten sound. Actually, too bright for my taste - and don't get me wrong, I like bright sounds.

I've tried it with my Rovner, Peter Ponzol M2, Dukoff D7, and Yani. I agree that most of my mouthpieces are already bright (high baffle), but I was looking for that extra edgy sound.

After a few tries, I gave up.

Good luck. Hope this helps.
