Folks, I am keen to find a sturdy and safe bell-clamp type stand attachment for my Conn bass saxophone. I will manufacture an appropriate base for the stand, but I would like to find a purpose made bell clamp, in the fashion of a Jiffy or Hamilton stand.
Is any such thing available?

The Hamilton Bari Sax stand base is not wide enough for bass sax. The strap for the bell is too short. The old Hamilton Bass Sax Stand is no longer in production.
HOWEVER. If you will grind through the spot welds that hold on the base of the Hamilton, you will find that the upright can slip into an old office chair base. Drilling a hole crosswise and installing a pin will keep them together.
Now, what to do for the bell strap? I just happen to have about 10 straps, cut from the same material as the original Hamilton. Send me a Hamilton bari sax bell strap assembly, and I will remove the metal strap and replace it with the correc one for bass sax.
