Hi all:

I was trying to find a good recording of this piece. I heard just a minute of Mule's version and It sounds fantastic but the CD "La Legende"seems to be sold out. I heard Jamal Rossi and Todd Oxford have some too. Any other options or recommendations and where to get them?

Thanks in advance!

Nobuya Sugawa has a wonderful recording on his Saxophone Repertory Collection/Exhibition of Saxophone album, and Nicholas Prost has a fairly nice one on Caprice.

I know I've got others, such as an incredible bootleg of Sinta, but I'm at work right now and I can't put my finger on any other specifics. I'll look into it when I get home.

*EDIT* - Michael Hester on Seasons is another one.

I have recorded it, and it is the music you hear when you visit my web site. Besides those mentioned, Al Gallodoro's is unbelievable!

Heh, I feel like I'm caught in one of those crazy time loops.

Try turning off the "repeat" on your stereo/mp3 player. :thumbrig:

Especially since I'm listening to Terry Riley and Steve Reich right now...

Especially since I'm listening to Terry Riley and Steve Reich right now...I once lost a weekend that way. I came home from classes on Friday and started listening to Glass's Piece in the Shape of a Square - next thing I knew it was Monday morning. I swear, only 7 minutes went by.
